Renewals, Suspensions, and Cancellations

Hosting services are billed in advance. Keeping invoices paid keeps service active.

Renewals

When a service approaches renewal, the system creates an invoice and emails a notice if notifications are enabled on your account.

Late invoices

If an invoice remains unpaid, the service may be suspended. A suspended service can usually be restored after payment unless it has already been terminated.

Cancellations

You can request cancellation from your service page. In most cases, end-of-period cancellation is safer than immediate cancellation because it gives you time to download files, email, and databases.

Before cancelling

Download website files you need to keep.
Export any databases.
Move email you need to keep into another mailbox or local archive.
